This Exchange and Returns Policy applies to retail consumer purchases made via the Slick Dancewear website only. Approved wholesale and trade customers are subject to separate Wholesale Terms & Conditions, under which change of mind returns are not accepted.
We understand that selecting the right style and size online can be a difficult one. For this reason, we welcome exchange or full product refunds on online orders with 14 days of purchase if an item/s meet the following conditions. This policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our change-of-mind returns timeframes and conditions do not limit your ACL rights in relation to faulty goods.
- The item/s must be unworn/unwashed in original saleable condition with any labels/tags attached and in original packaging.
- You need to send the original or a copy of your invoice with your exchange/return noting your requirements for an exchange or your reason for return.
- Customers will be responsible for all shipping and handling charges in returning an item for exchange/return. For exchange we offer to send the exchanged item back to you free via standard post. This is only available for the first exchange per purchase/invoice.
- Please ensure that you package your exchange/return to prevent damage whilst in transit.
- Any item/s returned are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. We will not be held liable for any item/s lost in transit and recommend you use Australia Post Registered Post or a service which offers tracking.
- Due to health regulations we are unable to accept exchange/return of legwear unless deemed faulty or wrongly delivered.
- Exchange/returns are not able to be processed through any retail stores which stock our products.
- If for some reason our quality control team missed a manufacturing fault or sent the wrong item, we will gladly provide you with a full refund (including shipping) or free exchange. The shipping cost will not be refunded on change of mind returns.
- No refunds or exchanges on sale/clearance items.
FOR EXCHANGES
- All items must be returned within 14 days of original order.
- We cannot guarantee that the item you wish to exchange your purchase for will be available. In these circumstances we will offer the customer a full product refund.
- To exchange an item please return to the address below and include the original or a copy of your invoice noting your exchange requirements.
FOR RETURNS
- Please allow 7 business days from the day your return package is received by Slick Dancewear for your refund to be processed.
- All items must be returned within 14 days of original order.
FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS
Slick Dancewear assesses faulty item claims in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). We may request proof of purchase and may require photographs/videos and/or the item to be returned for inspection before providing a remedy.
If the item has a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, we may offer a repair or replacement within a reasonable time. If we cannot provide a repair or replacement within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement.
If a fault is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy and reimburse reasonable return shipping costs (where applicable). If, after assessment, the item is found not to be faulty (for example, due to normal wear and tear or misuse), we may decline the claim.
