Exchange and Returns

This policy applies to retail purchases made through the Slick Dancewear website. Wholesale and trade customers are subject to separate terms and are not eligible for change of mind returns.

This policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy limits your rights in relation to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

We offer exchanges or refunds within 14 days of purchase for change of mind, subject to the conditions below.

General conditions

·        Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original saleable condition, with all labels and tags attached and in original packaging.

·        Items must be returned within 14 days of the original order date.

·        Returns must include the order number and clear instructions for exchange or return.

·        Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change of mind returns.

·        For exchanges, one replacement item will be sent free of charge via standard shipping per order.

·        Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.

·        Returned items remain the customer's responsibility until received and accepted by our warehouse. We recommend using a tracked service.

·        Legwear cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons unless faulty or incorrectly supplied.

·        Returns cannot be processed through third-party retail stockists.

·        Sale and clearance items are not eligible for exchange or refund unless required under ACL.

How to return or exchange an item

To return or exchange an item, please follow the steps below.

  1. contact us: Email info@slickdancewear.com.au with your order number and advise whether you would like an exchange or return.
  2. prepare your return: Ensure your item meets the conditions above.
  3. include your details: Include your order number, name, email address, and clear instructions inside your parcel. A copy of the invoice is optional.
  4. send your return: Send your parcel using a tracked service. You remain responsible for the item until received and accepted by our warehouse.
  5. Once received and approved:

·        exchanges will be dispatched based on availability

·        refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe

Exchanges

·        Exchange items are subject to availability.

·        If the requested exchange item is unavailable, a refund will be issued.

·        Original shipping costs are not refunded for change of mind returns.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Slick Dancewear assesses faults in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

A product may be considered faulty if it has a manufacturing defect or is not of acceptable quality. This does not include damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper fitting, misuse, alteration or incorrect storage.

We may request proof of purchase and require images, video or return of the item for assessment.

·        For major failures, you are entitled to a refund or replacement.

·        For minor failures, we may offer repair or replacement within a reasonable time.

·        If a suitable remedy cannot be provided, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement.

If a fault is confirmed, return shipping costs will be reimbursed. If the item is not deemed faulty, the claim may be declined and the item returned.
